The Red Wings’ fan-favourited captain, Dylan Larkin, finally broke his silence regarding the NHL 2025 Trade Deadline, leaving fans and reporters now speculating that Larkin may want out of Detroit.
Dylan Larkin is surely making headlines this week after speaking to media over the weekend and publicly criticizing Detroit’s front office, by addressing their lack of action during this year’s NHL trade deadline.
Dylan Larkin voiced frustration specifically towards GM Steve Yzerman
Larkin directly revealed his disappointment with the Detroit Red Wings’ general manager, Steve Yzerman, and his conservative approach towards the deadline, saying the team ‘didn’t gain any momentum’ and that morale dipped due to the fact nothing positive came out of it.
«I think, especially in March, it was hard that we didn’t do anything,» Larkin said. «Guys were kind of down about it it would have been nice to add something and bring a little bit of a spark.»
