ESPN makes strong statement on the future of the Eagles' Super Bowl dynasty after the 2025 NFL Draft

The 2025 NFL Draft has officially wrapped up, and the Philadelphia Eagles have added 10 new players to their roster.

General manager Howie Roseman handled the draft like the pro he is, staying flexible and making smart moves up and down the board to grab some key defensive players and set the Eagles up for the long haul.

ESPN NFL Draft analyst Matt Miller gave Roseman and the Eagles plenty of praise in his post-draft recap, highlighting just how loaded the team looks for the future.

“We’ll look back on this draft as the spark that continued the Eagles’ NFC dominance. The Eagles doubled down on defense, and given the team’s track record of hitting on starters while also developing later-round picks, it’s exciting to think about what guys such as linebacker Jihaad Campbell, safety Andrew Mukuba and defensive tackle Ty Robinson can become,” – ESPN’s Matt Miller

The Eagles really invested in the defense this year, grabbing some absolute NFL-ready stud early. Roseman targeted versatility, focusing on the secondary and defensive line, which were the two areas that were in serious need of an upgrade heading into the draft.

Roseman didn’t focus on landing a bunch of immediate starters, instead, he drafted with 2026, 2027, and beyond in mind. He went after high-ceiling players in the later rounds instead of quick fixes early on. That is the kind of approach that keeps a team competitive for years to come.
