Bayern Munich are reportedly showing interest in signing Real Madrid winger Rodrygo, but they face competition from Liverpool.
The German champions are desperate to land Luis Diaz from Liverpool, and the Colombian international has become their first-choice target.
Liverpool have already rejected two bids for Diaz. Bayern are keeping tabs on Rodrygo, in case they miss out on the Reds winger.
Rodrygo – what’s the latest scenario?

According to AS journalist Eduardo Burgos, Rodrygo is facing an uncertain future at Real Madrid.
Burgos claims that Bayern would be willing to meet Madrid’s £86m asking price for the Brazilian winger, who was largely ignored by Xabi Alonso during the Club World Cup.
Liverpool are showing keen interest in the 24-year-old attacker, and Pini Zahavi is pushing to take him to Anfield.
The Reds have bolstered their forward areas by signing Florian Wirtz from Bayern Leverkusen for a club record fee, but they could still sign another top-class winger if Diaz leaves the club.
The Premier League champions are demanding a massive fee of around £70m for Diaz and have made it clear that the player is not for sale.
Sky Germany previously reported that Rodrygo is not an option for Bayern as he would be too expensive for the German giants.
Bayern unlikely to move for Rodrygo
When Florian Wirtz moved to Liverpool, Bayern admitted that they would have struggled to match those figures.
From a financial perspective, Bayern will not be able to meet Rodrygo’s asking price. But most importantly, the Bavarian club want Diaz and Nico Woltemade only.
They believe that Diaz has everything it takes to succeed in Vincent Kompany’s team, and all they now need is to match Liverpool’s asking price for the Colombian.
Bayern may need to sell some of their unwanted players to recoup money for new additions.
