Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender Anthony Stolarz has proven he will stand up for himself and Ottawa Senators forward Ridly Greig learned that lesson on Tuesday.
Anthony Stolarz has been sensational so far in the postseason with a goals-against average of 1.95 and a save percentage of .934.
Although he has only played in two games thus far, he has proven to be one of the best goalies in the league so far this season and his playoff performances have been phenomenal.
Meanwhile, in Game 1, Stolarz had to deal with the wrath of Ridly Greig. In Game 2, the goaltender put the pest in his place.

As you can see in the clip below, Stolarz was able to shove Greig and slash him numerous times before putting him on the ground.
After the game, Craig Berube spoke to the media where he defended his goalie noting that what happened to Greig during the game was long overdue.
“It gets annoying after a while, right? And I’ve seen that with goalies before. I really don’t have a problem with it.”
Overall, Ottawa Senators fans were livid with how it all went down as Stolarz didn’t receive adequate punishment for what he was doing.
Senators fans have a lot to be upset about, quite frankly, as their team is now down 2-0 in a series that might just not be winnable anymore, especially if they lose Game 3.
Overall, the series still has a lot of hockey to be played and the Leafs cannot get too ahead of themselves. Although, with Anthony Stolarz playing so well, they have a great chance.
Game three goes down on Thursday, and we cannot wait to see what the Maple Leafs can do with the opportunity in front of them.
