Three members of the Chicago Blackhawks have officially departed from the organization for a huge opportunity in Stockholm, Sweden.
The IIHF World Hockey Championship is quickly approaching on May 9th-15th in Sweden, where several countries are set to battle one another.
Blackhawks head coach Anders Sorensen was the first of several announced to be departing from Chicago to represent their country at the 2025 World Championships.
Now, assistant coach Kevin Dean alongside two other prominent faces have packed their bags in preparation for Stockholm, Sweden, to represent Team USA.
On Thursday, Team USA released the names on their official roster list of 18 skaters who will take part in the upcoming Men’s World Championship.
“We really like our team,” said Jeff Kealty (Framingham, Mass.), general manager of the 2025 U.S. Men’s National Team and assistant general manager of the NHL’s Nashville Predators. “We have a group with significant international experience and I know our players are excited about representing our country on the world stage and competing for a gold medal.”

As we await a confirmation announcement of Connor Bedard heading to represent Team Canada, we can confirm the tournament will kick off from May 9 to 25 in Herning, Denmark, and Stockholm, Sweden.
